![]() ![]() ![]() Caby, my 4 year old BT, is a therapy dog who visits people in hospice. My greatest love is obedience where I have earned 4 AKC UDs as well as another 2 CDs and a CDX. I have bred over 80 border terrier puppies and earned many titles over the years. I have been involved in breeding, conformation, obedience, rally, earthdog, barn hunt and therapy with my dogs over the years. My husband, John, and I adopted our first border terrier, Chauncey, in 1980 and joined the BTCA in 1981. ![]() Thank you for your invitation to judge the 4-6 month puppy competition. I am looking forward to meeting your pups and veterans! I sincerely appreciate and thank the membership who nominated and chose me as Sweepstakes Judge this year. Kevin and I share our home now with five wonderful borders terriers ranging in age from 3 to 13 and with the memories of those who have left their marks on our hearts. Currently, I am chairperson of the scholarship committee of the BTCA Health and Scholarship Foundation. I am a member of the BTCA, the Northeast Border Terrier Club, the Greater Boston Area Earthdog Club, and the New England Terrier Club. These experiences and the encouragement of mentors sparked my current interest in working toward an AKC judging license. I have been honored to judge the puppy and veteran sweepstakes for the Border Terrier Club of the Redwoods, the Northeast Border Terrier Club and the New England Terrier Club. We have been thrilled when our dogs were recognized with top ribbons at BTCA national specialties, at supported entry shows and at Montgomery County Kennel Club. Other Kevrah bred borders who lived with Barbara and Michele also exhibited in conformation and earned titles in several performance activities including BTCA Versatility titles. I continued in the conformation ring with our puppies, and have entered competitions from flyball to nosework trials. When Lily earned her championship title out of the bred-by class, my husband Kevin and I, along with our friends and fellow border owners Barbara Wood and Michele Emond, established a small breeding program using the kennel name of Kevrah. Lily, our first border terrier, joined our family in 1997 I soon knew there would be no return to life without border terriers. ![]()
